Jared Berg - MS, RDN, CSCS
I love everything athletic and adventurous, and enjoy the great eating that allows me to do all this cool stuff! As a teenager, it wasn't atypical for me to bike six miles to caddy or golf 18 holes, bike home, go to soccer practice, and lift weights. When I discovered I could make a career out of helping motivated people get fit, I signed right up! After finishing a BS degree in Kinesiology at the University of Minnesota, I began coaching marathon runners, nordic skiers, triathletes, and cyclists to reach their athletic goals. Eventually, my passion for exercise science and healthy activity helped me train and compete as a professional triathlete and mountain biker.
As I transitioned out of competitive endurance racing, I started on as an Exercise Physiologist at CU Sports Medicine and Performance Center. Here I helped professionals and amateurs in the triathlon, cycling, running, and mountaineering excel in their sports through physiological testing and insight.
Fueled by a desire to help more people through nutrition and exercise, I earned a Master's in Nutrition and Dietetics at MSU Denver, completed my Dietetic Internship, and became a credentialed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
In my spare time, you will find me in the wild trail running, mountain biking, swimming, or skiing with my family and friends or in the kitchen, refining my cooking and barista skills!
